Surrendering burdens of excessive emphasis on material things, self image, expectations
of others, and relationships is often not easy to do.
Yet, there is one who invites us to ” come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest ” (Matthew 11:28a). His name is Jesus.
Great peace is to be found as we roll our cares over onto Him. In so doing we find rest for our souls.
