The blood of Jesus is the foundation for the believer’s salvation! There is no remission (to release the guilt or penalty) of sins without the shedding of blood.
Hebrews 9:22 (Amplified Bible) states:
“[In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood and without the shedding of blood their is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.”
